Hubert is a climate finance advisor with expertise in mobilizing resources, structuring green investment vehicles and supporting African countries in their green economy transitions. He works with various public, private, and multilateral organisations such as the UNDP, REEEP and the Africa Green Infrastructure Investment Bank (AfGIIB). Hubert is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Green Fund where he spearheaded the development of new climate finance programs and instruments. His work positioned the Rwanda Green Fund globally, and the organization received the UN Climate Action Award in the Financing for Climate Friendly Investment category. He has spent 15 years working in both public and private sectors in Rwanda and overseas. Prior to joining the Fund, Hubert was running his own investment advisory firm, Impactis Capital. He also served as a senior manager at the Rwanda Development Board where he successfully developed the value propositions for financial services and healthcare sectors. He is a board director at the National University Hospital (CHU) and an International Board advisor at the Coalition for Green Capital, an organization accelerating clean energy investments and supporting green banks, globally. Hubert is also a partner with the Africa Energy Transition Services (AETS).
