Mzansi Clean Energy Capital’s project has earned the first FAST-Infra Self-Assessment Label on the African continent. Our project received positive contributions claimed under 3 categories: Climate Change Mitigation; Resilience & climate adaptation; Inclusivity & Gender. The FAST-Infra Label is a credible, consistent, and globally applicable labelling system designed to identify and evaluate sustainable infrastructure projects. It is designed to enable developers and operators to show the positive impact of an infrastructure asset, thus attracting investors seeking assets that positively contribute to sustainable outcomes. Mzansi Clean Energy Capital has a preference for FAST-Infra-labelled infrastructure assets and our goal for our energy infrastructure investment is for a minimum of 30% to be FAST-Infra-labelled.
